Why I’m Running

My sons, John and William, are why I’m running for Lieutenant Governor. Watching the cultural shift over the past few decades has been nothing short of stunning and not in a good way. From boys competing in girls’ sports, to Drag Queen Story Hour, to taxpayer-funded gender-altering surgeries — this is not the Georgia I want my children to inherit. If we don’t stand and fight now, what kind of country will they raise their children in?

We need leaders with a backbone who will defend our values, our families, and our future. This campaign is about my family, your family, and every Georgia family.

As Lieutenant Governor, I will continue the fight I began in the State Senate. Georgia is the #1 state in which to do business, partially because we’ve maintained fiscal discipline. As Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, even as our population and budget have grown, we’ve kept per capita spending lower than it was before. But that’s still not enough!  I will eliminate the income tax in Georgia!
