Meet Blake
Blake Tillery serves as Chairman of the Georgia Senate Appropriations Committee, where he leads the charge in shaping the state’s budget and funding priorities. A results-driven conservative, Blake has built a record of cutting taxes, protecting freedoms, and investing in Georgia’s future.
Blake’s public service began in 2012 when he was elected Chairman of the Toombs County Commission. He promised lower taxes and better infrastructure—and he delivered on both. That same commitment to real results continues to define his work in the State Senate.
Since being elected to the Senate, Blake has:
• Cut taxes and championed responsible budgeting
• Protected conservative values, including the 2nd Amendment and free speech
• Authored legislation to prevent taxpayer funding for gender-transition procedures
• Held sanctuary cities accountable to fight illegal immigration
• Secured investments in infrastructure—roads, ports, broadband—that attract jobs and grow Georgia’s economy.
Blake is a lifelong conservative who believes in personal responsibility, constitutional rights, and protecting the next generation from the overreach of woke ideology. He’s not afraid to take tough stands and follows through on his promises.
Blake met his wife, Dr. Ashlee Nicole Tillery, while they were both students at the University of Georgia. Today, they live in Vidalia with their two young sons. Dr. Tillery practices medicine locally, and the family is active at Cornerstone Church.
Blake is a member of Kiwanis, a graduate of Leadership Georgia, and an alum of both the Conservative Policy Leadership Institute and Republican Leadership for Georgia. He’s spent more than a decade in the State Senate, fighting for Georgia families and upholding conservative principles.
Active in the Republican Party, Blake has worked on campaigns, served as local GOP Treasurer, and supported countless conservative causes. But as he often says: “I’m a conservative first—and that’s why I’m a Republican.”
“I grew up in a time where we all knew what a woman was, merit mattered, and our constitutional freedoms were protected. I’m running because I want that Georgia to be the one my sons grow up in.”
Blake Tillery is a common-sense conservative leader who doesn’t just talk about protecting freedom—he actually does it. While some politicians promise the moon and deliver green cheese, Blake delivers results.
